We have looked at patterns in maths and demonstrated our understanding of AAB, ABB and ABC patterns.
We have also investigated growing patterns
We have also leant to make pictorial graphs and interpret the data.
We made a picture graph of our lunchboxes.  As you can see, blue was the most popular colour.
This is a graph of our eye colour. We have hazel, blue and brown eyes in our class. Can you tell which is the most popular eye colour?
The line of symmetry was made more helpful to understand by hands on activities that involved folding paper in half, and holding a mirror to half a picture. Mrs Bowden also took a photo of our faces and cut these in half. IB had to then draw the other side of their faces as a mirror image. These pictures are on display in our classroom and in the front display cabinets on level 7 when you step out of the lift.
